- I'm a native Michigander who grew up in Midland. I have a degree in Art and Biology from Central Michigan University and have a bit of experience doing natural history museum display work. I have developed my career in commercial animation in Chicago. I've also completed several award-winning independent animated shorts using a variety of media. While in Chicago, I was active in the plein air painting community and I remain a member of the Palette and Chisel Academy of Fine Arts. I have contributed paintings to many group shows and had my first solo show there in 2006. Recently I have relocated to Midland. Setting up and painting outside here is one of my greatest pleasures. I also enjoy gathering information from locations and working with it to create a piece. With my new business, Art of Priscilla, I am looking forward to contributing to the arts community by offering classes in drawing, painting and animation.
